How do I add Favourites to my library?

There is a star icon in the top right of each track/album page. Click on the star icon to save the track/album to Your Library as a Favourite.

You can access your Favourites from the app homepage, by clicking Your Library at the bottom of the screen, or via the burger menu in the top left. Favourites can be found in Your Library under the Albums and Tracks tabs.

How do I change the BPM?

Tailor the tempo of the music to your class by utilising the BPM Controller:

  1. Open the Pure Energy Music app.
  2. Select a track, album or mix. Then, click the play button.
  3. Click the BPM Controller bar located underneath the track artwork – this indicates the current track’s BPM.
  4. Click ‘+’ to increase the BPM, or ‘-’ to decrease the BPM.

Can I cast via Airplay and Chromecast?

You can cast the Pure Energy Music app from your device, using Airplay or Chromecast.

Some features of the Pure Energy Music app may be disabled during casting.

All app features are unaffected when playing music through a hard-wired system or via Bluetooth.

To cast via Airplay or Chromecast:

  1. Open the Pure Energy Music app.
  2. Click on the album or track you’d like to cast.
  3. Click the speaker icon underneath the green play button.
  4. Select the device you’d like to cast to.

How can I clear my cache?

You can clear your cache at any time to free up storage on your device.

  1. Open the Pure Energy Music app.
  2. Click the profile icon in the top right of your home screen.
  3. Scroll down to ‘Downloads’.
  4. Click ‘Clear Cache’.

How does Offline Mode work?

Pure Energy Music tracks, albums, mixes, playlists and programmes are available to play in the Pure Energy Music app whilst offline.

You must be online when downloading the music for future offline playback:

  1. Go to a track, album, mix, playlist or programme.
  2. Click ‘Download’ (located to the right of the ‘Share’ button). A green progress bar will appear to indicate that the music is downloading. A green tick on the ‘Download’ button indicates that the music has been successfully downloaded.
  3. Locate ‘Downloads’ in ‘Your Library’ to view all music that is ready for offline playback.

To remove a download from within your Pure Energy Music app, go to Your Library, locate the download you’d like to remove, click the three dots to the right of the track/album title and click ‘Remove Download’.
