At Ten Health & Fitness, Dynamic Reformer Pilates is at the heart of the brand. These low-impact, high-effectiveness workouts are designed to improve strength, posture, flexibility, and overall fitness. Music plays a vital role in these sessions to create energy, flow and motivation.
Each week, Ten delivers between 650–700 Reformer Pilates classes and 1:1 sessions, engaging over 3,000 participants across its studio network.

Before using Pure Energy Music, instructors at Ten didn’t have a framework for music usage. While that gave unlimited room for creativity, it also meant that the member experience could vary significantly between sites (and staying on top of music licensing was a growing challenge).
‘We wanted to take our in-studio experience to the next level,’ Joanne explains. ‘That meant having soundtracks that reflect the energy and identity of Ten — and tools that keep us compliant, consistent, and scalable.’

With Pure Energy Music’s Operator Exclusive Channel, Ten now has one central, branded content hub, all housed within the app, where instructors can:
— Access curated playlists tailored to each class level (from Beginners to Advanced)
— Save tracks and build their own (on-brand) playlists
— Find content designed for specific use cases: including massage treatments
— Stay aligned with Ten’s identity (while bringing their own teaching style to life!)
Seamless Onboarding + Local Studio Control
The onboarding process was delivered in collaboration with Pure Energy Music’s team. This included live demos, training materials, Q&A sessions, and ongoing support via a dedicated help desk.
To ensure all staff have consistent access, Ten installed tablets at Front of House in every studio. This makes the music platform easy to access throughout the day.
Each studio manager has admin control over their team, while the senior leadership team has visibility across all sites. This gives the business both local autonomy and central oversight.
From Studio to Franchise: Scaling the Sound
Following the success of the branded channel rollout, Ten has expanded the model into its Ten Reformer franchise. Each franchise partner receives access to the app and their own curated Ten Reformer music channel. This channel has centrally controlled content that maintains quality and brand integrity, from day 1.
